Report for June 2008
The Australian Ethical Equities Trust (AEET) outperformed its benchmark over the month and the quarter.The AEET declined by 6.5% gross in the month of June, against the benchmark (S&P/ASX Small Industrials Index), which declined by 7.6%. Over the quarter the AEET rose by 7.4% to the benchmarks 1.7% decline.

The above performances are ranked based on the effect within the Trust, rather than on the percentage movement within the price. Thus, Pure Energy Resources had a greater effect on AEET’s performance than Cochlear Ltd to its larger holding within the Trust. The percentages shown are the individual shares change in price over the course of the month.
Cash available at the end of June 2008 was 8.91%, up from 6.48% in May 2008.
