Sponsorship guidelines

As part of Australian Ethical's marketing activities, the company participates in various types of commercial sponsorships. These sponsorships complement the company's other promotional activities such as advertising, seminars, newsletters and website.Sponsorships help us reach unique audiences and help us talk directly with them.

Australian Ethical is in the business of managing investors’ money ethically. Our marketing activities should encourage investment from our key markets. Proposals must demonstrate how Australian Ethical will be able to reach new clients from the sponsorship.

If your group is seeking a donation then you should apply for one of Australian Ethical’s community grants. Applications for these can be made on the website generally between April and mid-July each year.
Recent sponsorship examples include the Big Canberra Bike Ride, Walk Against Warming, WA Conservation Week and Sustainable House Day. We generally seek sponsorship opportunities which provide a combination of sponsor benefits including product booths, speaking opportunities, dissemination of brochures and promotional materials, newsletter articles, web links, program advertising and company branding.

Refer to the Australian Ethical Charter to get a feel for the sort of areas that are important to us.

The proposal
